LPCXpresso is an Eclipse-based integrated development environment from NXP Semiconductors designed for creating C/C++ applications for LPC ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers. It streamlines project setup, compilation, flash programming, and on-chip debugging in a single package, working with LPC-Link/LPC-Link2 and other compatible debug probes. The IDE includes GNU toolchains, CMSIS support, example projects, and peripheral libraries to accelerate bring-up and development, along with features such as register and peripheral views, memory inspection, and semihosting for efficient debugging.
Note: LPCXpresso has been succeeded by NXP’s MCUXpresso IDE, which provides an upgrade path for existing LPC projects.
